10x Fellowship ‘Facts and Figures’

  1. Although The Fellowship only has about 500 official ‘members’ it represents the top 10% of the industry. These individuals and salons are undoubtedly the key style leaders and opinion-formers for the UK hairdressing industry.
  2. The Fellowship is proud to include every major professional hair care manufacturer among its members.
  3. In nearly 15 years over 50 young stylists have been part of the F.A.M.E. Team project. Many of those have gone on to become leading industry names and won countless awards, including British Hairdresser of the Year and Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year.
  4. Many of the winners of the of the British Hairdressing Awards are Fellowship member salons.
  5. As The Fellowship grows it aims to represent the best the top end of salons in every town in the UK.
  6. The Fellowship Stage at Salon International is the biggest single line-up of UK hairdressers presented anywhere in the UK during the whole year! Last year that included over 50 Fellowship salons, 150 stylists and over 350 models!
  7. The Fellowship was founded in 1946 and was then known as The Fellowship of Hair Artists of Great Britain.
  8. The annual FELLOWSHIP AWARDS are currently the only major UK awards presented exclusively by hairdressers to hairdressers.
  9. Rarely a month goes by without a Fellowship show or event happening somewhere in the UK.
  10. The Fellowship MASTERCLASS! is unique in offering low-cost, high-profile educational workshops by top industry names on a regular basis throughout the UK. We believe that it is also the longest-running series of hairdressing educational events held anywhere in the world.
